The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall operation and training functions involving Birchstreet, used to procure and inventory all goods and services. Responsibilities
MaintainBirchstreet systems and databases for all Grand Canyon Food and Beverage revenue centers
Responsible for information management systems, daily and weekly receiving, and monthly inventory
Coordinate with the property accounting team on invoices and receive tracking as needed to ensure the timely receipt and payment of vendor invoices
Assist with cyclic inventories in Food and Beverage and Retail departments, and manage the virtual storeroom locations in Birchstreet
Qualifications
High school degree or GED required.
Minimum 2 years working as an administrator or coordinator of procurement and purchasing systems within the hospitality industry. Experience as a manager or supervisor of Food and Beverage preferred
Experience working with and training others when required and be comfortable in a team setting
Previous database management and spreadsheet experience required, preferably MS Excel.
Strong leadership skills experience working across multiple departments and understanding the organizational structure and future vision to affect change
Strong computer skills
Physical Requirements
Work is performed stationary, seated at a desk, with some bending, reaching, standing, and walking as required
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to use computer, grasp items and complete paperwork
