Description We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to be part of our team located in GRAND ISLAND, New York. The role will primarily involve managing all aspects of accounting functions for our company, with a specific focus on the construction industry. The role is office-based and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and track contracts from inception to completion.

• Efficiently process AIA Payment Applications and associated documents.

• Conduct collection calls to ensure timely payment of dues.

• Administer weekly payroll processing, including prevailing wage calculations and certified payrolls.

• Manage reporting for Simple IRA.

• File Sales and Use Tax Returns for New York and Ohio.

• Provide supervisors with reports on PTO Balances and Accrued Sick Time.

• Maintain familiarity with QuickBooks Online to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Prepare monthly financial statements to give an accurate representation of the company's financial status.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and billing functions.

• Proficiently use Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook to perform tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in performing Accounting Functions

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Billing Functions
