Local manufacturing company in Grand Junction looking for Full Time Material Handlers!

$15.50/HR to start, M-Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

-Assists Material Handler team and is actively engaged to meet daily demands and production schedules - Work with supervisor and team leads to prioritize assignments ensuring demand and production schedules are met - Observe, maintain, coordinate and assist with loading and unloading of materials being received and/or shipped. - Assists in maintaining active security requirements for storage of critical and/or pilferable assets - Move freight, stock, recyclable materials to and from storage and/or production areas, loading docks, vehicles, containers - Sort and maintain items for inventory storage locations for proper protection, storage and issue of materials - High frequency of heavy lifting (up to weights of 75 lbs) and movement of heavy carts/bins - High frequency of gripping, reaching, and walking throughout each day - Work outside frequently moving materials, receiving trucks, and storing materials/equipment - Manual dexterity is highly necessary and ability to manage multiple tasks - Support packaging, and marking of Valor product for shipment - Assist with handling and restocking of materials being received from suppliers as well as the manufacturing floor - Complies with all company policies and procedures
