Resource West, Inc. Service Manager in Grand Junction, Colorado

Position Overview: The Service Manager ensures customer satisfaction is met during our manufacturing, installation, and field service process. The ideal candidate will help implement systems to improve our internal and external communication process, track customer issues, and coordinate with sales, accounting, production, and supply chain for on time delivery within budget and within scope.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of customer orders and projects to ensure delivery of equipment within scope Main point of contact for customers after conclusion of sales process Main point of contact for delivery, installation, general questions or warranty issues Ensures all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved utilizing various company teams as needed Identify problems that will prevent completion of project on time within budget and within scope Assist in definition of project scope and objective, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility as well as successful installation Meet with customers to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements as well as identify site specific challenges that may arise Coordinate meetings among customer, engineering, quality, supply chain, field service, sales, and production as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient use of internal resources Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs appropriately Ability to read and interpret project plans including civil and engineering drawings Site visits to field may be required (15-20% of time)

Education: Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study such as Project Management, Business, Communications, Technology and/or equivalent work experience

Experience: Client-facing communication experience required Proven working experience in project management PMP certification is a plus

Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service capability during challenging situations A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach Excellent organizational skills required Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
