River House, Inc Lead Client Advocate in Grayling, Michigan
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Lead Client Advocate is responsible for ensuring 24-hour coverage of River House Shelter and Crisis Line. This pivotal role involves:
Scheduling shelter coverage
Assisting residential and non-residential clients in meeting emotional and physical needs
Answering the crisis line, text line, and emails
Conducting intake interviews
Maintaining shelter safety
Overseeing housekeeping
Scheduling and providing emergency on-call assistance and crisis intervention services.
The Lead Client Advocate also assists the Executive Director in supervising staff providing direct care, develops and monitors systems related to client services, and supports adult and child victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking by coordinating services and safety plans.
River House provides:
