Corinth Consulting Group is looking for aSystems Management Technologistto join our team in support of our DoD customer located at Great Lakes, IL. The qualified candidate will be supporting the mission of the U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC). USACC partners with universities to recruit, educate, train, and commission leaders of character for the Total Army and partners with high schools to develop accomplished, responsible, citizens who value service to their communities. Our dedicated team is looking to onboard a qualified candidate that is willing to learn and be a part of our high performing team. The position requires attention to detail, active participation in team meetings, and the ability to properly complete and document action items, tasks, while always keeping a client focus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Tier 3 Application helpdesk support for all current and future Cadet Command applications.
  • Tier 3 Functional Customer Support that liaises between current Cadet Command Directorates, field offices, and service providers and provides onsite, remotely, over the phone, and/or via email.
  • Provide physical support and troubleshooting with individual users; for users geographically separated from the immediate area, support shall involve working with the user, other BDE IMO(s), university or high school IT personnel, as well as possibly providing additional support to the BDEs when required.
  • Support technical analyses of current and future Information Technology (IT) Purchase Requests to ensure compatibility with established government specifications.
  • Monitor support ticketing and reporting systems; reports trends of degraded services and support to MAM and G6 leadership.
  • Support the analysis of the IT/IM architecture impacting dynamic network access and services to USACC soldiers, civilians, contractors, and partners at all USACC locations.
  • Conduct analysis, refinement and modernization of USACC IT/IM system(s) that support Command and Control, education/training, and distribution and delivery.
  • Provide classroom support to School of Cadet Command (SOCC, JSOCC, CULP).
  • Provide Brigade classroom and conference room support.
  • User Account management.
  • Monitor and track training and compliance.
  • Update and maintain software application roles and account access.
  • Coordinate actions to resolve cyber-attacks/incidents on command assets with external and subordinate organizations.
  • Ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly compliance requirements are met individually within the timelines provided by Operations executive leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required along with a current DoD Secret clearance.
  • 5+ years of Information technology experience supporting organizations with 500 or more users (military experience counts as years of experience). Military service counts as part of the 5+ years.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Information Management from a regionally accredited institution of higher.
  • Must have and maintain at least one certification from the list of approved DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to Great Lakes, IL in order to work onsite full time.
  • Able to travel CONUS and OCONUS to U.S. territories.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge and experience of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, agency regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
