We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Engineering Lab Tech to join our team. The selected candidate will work with ice machine or refrigerator units, setting them up with appropriate testing equipment and data acquisition. The role involves running testing on the units, recording data, and providing feedback on the results. This entry-level position assists with ice machine performance testing and data collection tasks related to product variants, test fixtures, new product introduction, and validation activities. Responsibilities include set-up, calibration, and running of refrigeration tests, following testing procedures, accurate test set-up and running, recording proper and accurate data, and giving feedback on results for future tests or equipment design changes.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean, but busy life-cycle, reliability testing lab with environmental chambers. The lab includes a cooling room, which is very cold, and a hot room, which is very warm. While some work may be done in these rooms, the majority will be done in the lab at a comfortable temperature. The position will work 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working 4-10's. The lab maintains a casual work environment, where jeans and a button-down are acceptable attire. Please note that wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hearing and eye protection, is mandatory.
