Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. Move materials to and from designated areas, ensuring everything is in place for production.

• Loading & Unloading: Safely load materials into vehicles, securing them with straps, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.

• Inventory Control: Count, weigh, and record materials moved, ensuring accuracy on stock requisition and Kanban records.

• Packaging: Assemble crates or boxes for products like machines or vehicles, and stack or bundle materials as needed.

• Forklift Operation: Operate industrial lift trucks, hoists, and hand trucks to transport materials.

• Work Area Maintenance: Keep your work area clean, and handle spills or equipment clean-up as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience in a related field preferred.

• Forklift Certification: Previous forklift certification and 1 year experience is required. MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A STAND UP FORKLIFT!

• Skills: Basic math, reading, and writing skills. EXPIERIENCE WITH ORACLE SOFTWARE REQUIRED!

• Experience: Familiarity with inventory practices, processes, and procedures is preferred.

• Other Skills: Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. A team player with a positive attitude!

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for handling objects, tools, or controls.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb as needed.

• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

• Environment:

• Work is performed in an indoor manufacturing setting, exposed to production activities, machinery, and forklift traffic.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to ensure safety.
