Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Materials Engineer for a large engineering consulting firm in Greenville, South Carolina. This individual will provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This can include performing/leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, design and development of plans/specifications, observations/inspection, and review of related reports for the services provided. The Senior Materials Engineer with prepare proposals and cost estimates, track/evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes. They will also assign, review, and evaluate laboratory/field data for inclusion in reports. The ideal individual should be highly organized, enjoy fast paced environments, and have excellent communication skills. Services may be provided for existing or new projects within public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and/or industrial sectors.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree (engineering preferred, not required)

* Open to AS degree if accompanied by additional years of experience.

* 4+ years of experience within the Materials/Construction Materials Testing space.

* Experience with project proposals, budget estimates, laboratory testing, QA/QC, etc..

* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) -- will be client facing.

* ACI Certified * Authorized Project Reviewer

* Higher level education

* Experience in a leadership role/manage crew. null
