What you will do:

  • Coordinate dimensional inspection requests from divisions and external suppliers, ensuring alignment with local capabilities.

  • Operate various lab equipment including CMM Machine, VMM Machine, Contour Tracer3D Scanner, and Harness Tester.

  • Coordinate design, development, and implementation of complex CMM programs.

  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis, CMM Inspection, and Layout Inspection of Parts.

  • Identify and assess technical capabilities of new suppliers.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders for smooth execution of inspection requests at supplier's end.

  • Facilitate technical discussions and finalize quality and timeline commitments with external suppliers.

  • Interpret technical requirements and liaise with external suppliers accordingly.

  • Perform incoming inspection of samples, prototypes, and items from external suppliers or divisional teams.

  • Generate reports on KPIs related to outsourcing activity.

  • Develop procedures, guidelines, and SOPs as necessary.

  • Adapt to work individually or as part of a team.

  • Stay updated on metrology technology to meet technical device roadmaps.

  • Develop and update Work Instructions for Metrology Lab according to standards (ISO17025, ISO13485)

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
