As a Public Sector Business Development Representative at Oracle, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our public sector business. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting Oracle's solutions to government agencies and public sector organizations. This position is remote supporting a Philadelphia, PA based team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, social selling, and other prospecting methods.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies and public sector organizations.
Solution Promotion: Promote Oracle's cloud solutions and services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and value propositions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and demand generation activities.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and government initiatives to identify potential opportunities.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 10 - 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the public sector.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Knowledge: Understanding of public sector procurement processes and government regulations is a plus.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. Knowledge of Oracle's products and services is an advantage.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$36.39—$60.67 USD
