Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is searching for aPrincipalProductDesignerto join our team!

The Principal Product Designer is passionate aboutdigitalproductdesign and user experience, driven by outcomes and impacts for the entire user journey that creates customer delight, growth, and retention.This role will befocused onthe user and customerUX/UIof our digital products in allchannels andexperiences.This personisahands-onUX/UI designer, researcher, and strategist.As part of the development teams that are responsible for our products, this role will work directly with product management, engineering, stakeholders, and customers/usersto design and help develop best-in-class product experiences.This role is a principal level role as the lead and only product designer with expectation to be thehands-onUX/UI product experience thought leaderand designerhelping own theproductoutcomes forusers,customers,and the business. We need a candidate whois both strategic and tactical, someone whois passionate abouttheuser and customer experience,usability, design patterns,voiceofthe customer,solving difficultand ambiguousproblemsfor our customers. This role will be thedrivingforce fortheproductUX/UIexecutionand future experiences of our products.

This position reports directly to theVP,Marketplace Solutions.

Location

This is a remote role with the flexibility to work from any location within the United States. There is a preference for candidates in Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones.There will beup to 15%travel related to planningand working sessionsthat are in-person.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leadthe product design and UX/UIdesignfor all Dodge Construction Network digital products
  • Own the product design and UX/UI methods, processes, and tools
  • Help organizeand collaborate toaligncross-functionalteams and individualsthroughsharedunderstanding,influence, and trustaround our product experiences
  • Deep understanding of segmentsand personasof users and theirjourney,needs, goals, motivations, behaviors through user and product research
  • Research, design,and test user interfaces and experiences, owningusability testing, validation,and results, including accessibilityneeds
  • Workdirectlywith theProduct andDevelopment teamsto execute product UX/UI design efforts,facilitatingdiscussions and providingclarity on theexperience and how that will impact theoutcomesdesired
  • Work with Marketing and CX teams to unify and optimize the customer and user journeys in our productexperiences
  • Help define and drive product and business outcomes through product experiences, research, and testing
  • Accountableformaximizing, from a UX perspective,the value of the work done, value vs. effort/cost
  • Analyzeand monitor product experience metrics and feedback, be the champion for your users through voice of customerresearch anddata
  • Analyzeand monitor marketUX/UI andproduct designtrends/patternsaligned withcustomerand business needs,including competitionanddifferentiation
  • Find solutions that solve customer and/or business problems,what's valuableand usablefor the customers,what's viable for the business, and what's feasible fromtechnology

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/collegepreferred in related Interaction Design fields, or equivalentexperienceand workproduct
  • 8+ years of digital product designexperienceformulti-featuredonline web/digital productsincluding product designresponsibilitiesas well as user experience design, user interface design, and user research
  • 8+ years of experience in: user research/testing, human/user centered design, information architecture, user journeys, wireframing, design theories, visual communication, interaction design, rapid prototyping,andUX design tools (eg., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD,Zeplin,etc. -we currently useFigma)
  • 5+ yearseffectivelyworking in embedded/empoweredagiledelivery/product/development teams,in a CI/CD rapid delivery,test and learn environments,without directreports
  • 6+ years of experienceleading user researchworking directly withinternal and external stakeholders as well as directly withcustomers/usersleading voice of the customer/userresearch and testingwork
  • Effectivewritten, presentation, and verbalcommunications skills for any level of the organization
  • Proven ability to lead in product designexecutionusing not only design but dataandresearch
  • Onlinedirectories,marketplaces,networks,communities,and/or search and matchproductdesignexperience astrongplus
  • Construction and/orcommercial building services industry experience a plus

SalaryAnd Benefits

Salary range: $145,000-$225,000

DCN's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary,comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles,uncappedcommissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
