Quality Improvement Analyst for Consumer Benefit Solutions

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our main offices in Hammonton, NJ, Lake Mary, FL, or Irvine, CA locations. We may also consider a strong applicant for a Virtual (work from home arrangement) within the Continental United States if not located near these locations.

What the day will look like

The Quality Improvement Analyst is part of an industry-leading team, that enables results for our colleagues and clients by delivering and maintaining standardized best practice guidelines, operational policies, and procedures, and fosters a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement. Quality Improvement focuses on empowering colleagues to embrace change related to process effectiveness and efficiencies, automation advancements, and innovative solutions. Engaged in a mix of projects and strategic initiatives, this role will quickly learn the business, departmental functions and role profiles to curate visuals and documentation to define or clarify flow of activities. This role will assist team members in the development of new or improved process documentation and supporting reference materials for our colleagues to enhance aptitude and efficiency in their roles, across various operations functional areas, including client management, systems delivery, sales, administrative services, and financial management. The Quality Improvement Analyst will assist in the management of our Operations SharePoint site and it's growing library of job and process related reference materials, job aids and guidance. This role will also support various other team projects throughout the year.

  • Quickly learn the business, departmental functions, and colleague role profiles
  • Align early and often with departmental leaders and project sponsors/owners to understand business plans tied to new development, process improvement and efficiency solutions
  • Provide innovative thinking, embrace efficiency, and identify quality improvement initiatives to support the business through new development or updates to operational processes
  • Participate and/or lead projects assigned throughout the year focused on new process development, improvement, and efficiency solutions
  • Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines, assign priority, and maintain aligned expectations with leadership and project teams on timeliness and completion dates.
  • Ability to pivot to shifting business needs quickly, and serve as a strong change agent to facilitate acceptance of new or updated procedures
  • Create documentation to be used as procedural reference materials, such as visual process flows, general guidance, job aids and technical writing of standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate and update existing documentation as appropriate to ensure ongoing relevance
  • Manage Operations SharePoint site, security access, and maintenance requirements for pages and content libraries holding all procedures, service delivery models, training materials and job aids
  • Measure deliverable success through self-evaluation, participant evaluation and management feedback, and adjust future work products to align with feedback
  • Other duties as may be required

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • At least 3-5 years of operations, client, or quality management experience (or similar experience within education, training, or PMO)
  • 1-3 years of experience participating and/or leading projects
  • Strong MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Teams, and other collaborative applications
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to form partnerships
  • Effective time management with ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Flexible mindset in adapting to varying project needs, with ability to apply various solutions
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Teams, and other collaborative applications a plus
  • Familiarity with Voluntary Benefits is preferred, but not required

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
