What You’ll Get to Do:

Support the execution of Configuration Management and Control processes for any/all Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System (WS) baseline releases during design, integration, testing, fielding, and sustainment. Be proficient in AOC WS Configuration Management Plan (CMP), AOC WS Business Processes (ABPs), AOC WS Charters and other relevant AOC WS program data sources.

Selected candidate for hire MUST have their TS/SCI prior to hire. Must be willing to work onsite in Hampton, VA.

More About the Role:

  • Monitor, track, and analyze configuration item changes throughout the development, integration and baseline release processes.

  • Provide total asset visibility to all hardware and software at fielded sites using the Government Product Lifecycle Management Tool with the ability to run reports and query data.

  • Maintain requirements traceability and requirements-related information that show traceability to configurations in approved baselines and source documents.

  • Assess quality assurance and sustainment of all documentation, to include documents produced for baseline releases (ex. Enterprise Change Requests).

  • Analyze and report on the interoperability, capabilities and functions of the candidate changes to the AOC WS hardware and software baselines.

  • Analyze the Implementation Packages and Fielding Summary Memorandums (FSMs) for each release for accuracy and completeness.

  • Track, report and document existing and new Requests for Variances (RFVs) and Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) throughout the ECR life cycle process.

  • Prepare briefing slides, including data on performance/help desk metrics to support management, program, and technical reviews, including monthly EMRs and CRBs, and PMRs as needed.

  • Assist the government in developing and maintaining an integrated release plan, which includes release requirements and objectives, and addresses multiple releases (e.g. monthly security updates, quarterly security and maintenance updates, End of Life (EOL)/End of Support, End of Sale (EOS), and End of Software Maintenance sustainment updates).

  • Participate and contribute to various meetings as directed by the Government.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline, at least 8 years’ experience of increasing responsibility in DOD system/software development and considered subject matter expert in assignment related technical area.

  • Must have a minimum of one year’s experience executing change management/configuration control/configuration management duties supporting ACC as lead command or AFLCMC/HBB as the AOC SPO/PMO.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
