Robert Half is working with a public accounting firm in Linglestown, PA dedicated to providing comprehensive tax, audit, and consulting services to a diverse client base who pride themselves on commitment to excellence, integrity, and personalized service. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Staff Tax Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.

• Review tax returns prepared by junior staff for accuracy and completeness.

• Research and analyze tax issues, providing recommendations and solutions.

• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Assist clients with tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities.

• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their tax-related questions and concerns.

• Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive tax services.

• Maintain organized and accurate records of tax filings and client information.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Ideal candidate is a recent grad with 1 year tax experience or an internship

• CPA certification preferred or actively working towards certification.
