Description

This Custodian position is a full-time position with benefits and a preferred hiring rate of $15.96 per hour (equivalent to $33,196 annually); however, an exact salary will be dependent upon the selected candidate's qualifications/experience and in compliance with City policy. As a Custodian with Parks and Recreation, you'll play a critical role in ensuring various departmental facilities (primarily the Community Activities Center and Lucy F. Simms Continuing Education Center) are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use by the public. You're th e ideal candidate for this position if you have an eye for detail and enjoy working independently while also providing excellent customer service to colleagues and the general public utilizing the facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of the tenth grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED preferred but not required for consideration.

• Valid driver's license required.
