Description We are in the search for an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Hempstead, New York. The selected professional will be primarily focused on closing commercial real estate and asset-based loan transactions. This role is critical to our commercial lending practice, dealing with various aspects such as drafting commercial loan documents and handling title issues, certificates of occupancy, survey, and other related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the closing of commercial real estate and asset-based loan transactions

• Draft various commercial loan documents including Notes, Mortgages, Loan, and Security Agreements

• Manage revolving and term loan documents

• Resolve title issues in commercial lending transactions

• Handle certificates of occupancy in relation to commercial real estate transactions

• Address survey-related matters in commercial real estate transactions

• Process other related issues in commercial lending and real estate transactions

• Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards in all transactions

• Collaborate with the team to facilitate smooth transaction processes

• Continually update professional knowledge in commercial lending and real estate law. Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the jurisdiction of employment

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer is required

• Demonstrated expertise in Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Lending

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve and make decisions

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software

• Strong ethical standards and integrity

• Commitment to continued professional development and staying updated on changes in laws and regulations.
