Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

What your background should look like:

Industrial Engineer Degree or similar

3 years of experience in a similar role

Accident investigation

Norm's STPS

Excel

SAFE program administration participation

Development and follow environmental goals

Meeting environmental and other legal requirements

COA Federal and State

Environmental permit and license

Non Hazardous wast managament program

Hazardous waste management programa

Update or modification of wastes

Programing and follow environmental compliance studies

Keep updated chemical substances matrix list

Non Hazardous and hazardous waste handling program administration

Ensure meeting environmental legal requirements and other requirements

Taking part on the incident investigations

Coordinate the investigations of the reported near miss

Contractor program administrationm

Work environment studies coordination

Sustainability projects

Revision of production areas to identify any safety condition of risk

Coordinate the safety activities of the building

Follow up to the energy saving projects

Follow up to corrective actions as result of the inspection and audits performed to the facility and process.

Level meeting attendance

Environmental, safety report preparation

Coordinate weekly safey audits

Coordination of the safety brigade.

Workplace safety analysis.
