We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer in a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience. This program delivers Enterprise Computing engineering services with modern technology solutions with that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

You should be customer service oriented, attentive to detail, self-motivated and work well in teams. Flexibility in approach to finding solutions, the ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and learn new technologies quickly are some of the qualities a successful candidate will have. You should have experience engineering applications related to data management and presentation in an enterprise data operational environment centered towards network performance and cyber threats.

BAE is seeking an experienced Software Engineers with a minimum of 11 years experience, and a Bachelors and/or Masters degree to support our Government Partner with all program related activities including stakeholder management, configuration and change management processes and coordination with the engineers, admins, and analysts. Qualified applicants should have significant experience in the following required areas:

  • Experience engineering data analytics solutions for Enterprise IT situational awareness

  • Experience managing data flows

  • Experience in one or more cloud computing services and technologies including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, VMware

  • Experience with one or more application development environments supporting commercial or open source tools including but not limited to: Linux, Python, C, Bash Scripting, Perl, SQL, and UIPath

  • Expertise implementing and managing Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools

  • Experience working in a DevOps environment

  • Experience with automation or orchestration tools such as Ansible

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Advanced Splunk Certification

  • Data Lake development or implementation

  • Experience implementing Machine Learning SIEM capabilities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
