This position is located at our European headquarters in High Wycombe, UK.

The role is responsible for a broad set of consolidation, forecasting and planning activities. The role is UK based but includes responsibility for some European reporting alongside global consolidation tasks.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Unicom Finance/Cognos Financials

• Upload of regional Actuals, Forecasts and Plans into UF/CF

• Global consolidation of Actuals, Forecasts and Plans in UF/CF

• European Reporting and Analysis from UF/CF

• Creation of annual templates and reporting within UF/CF

• Updating UF/CF for organizational/functional changes as directed by Divisional Finance

• Development of local/EU/global reporting within UF/CF

• Training & support of system users

• Forecasting / Planning

• Monthly consolidation, reporting and analysis of European Bookings and Backlog data

• Preparation and review of global schedules for Flash and Day 0 Outlooks

• Annual consolidation, reporting and analysis of global Shipments data

• Ownership of UF/CF inputs and outputs for all forecasting and planning activities

• Reporting/Analysis

• Global Product Margin Analysis (existing for Static division, to be developed for Dynamic)

• European KPI Dashboard reporting updates and analysis

• Review of European contracts, to analyse for SAB101 audited revenue recognition

• Dynamic Systems Pricing and discounting analysis

• Ad hoc business analysis and project support as required by Dynamic Systems team

• Business Partnering – European Sales Director

• Ownership monthly reporting pack including update of forecasts and sales territory analysis

• Monthly dashboard updates and analysis

• Monthly territory reporting and analysis

• Supporting ad hoc strategic analysis and financial modelling

• Business Partnering – Marketing

• Support Marketing team with month end actuals analysis

• Monthly forecast updates and variance explanations

• Support budget inputs and year on year bridges

• Monthly Reporting

• Bonus and commission accrual and payment management (Sales, Service, Senior Leadership)

• Revenue and cost reporting from IFS

• European revenue recognition analysis

• Reconcile Cognos reporting vs local reporting

Key Competencies (includes skills)

• Unicom Finance/Cognos Financials consolidation

• Unicom Finance/Cognos Financials process development

• IFS or similar ERP experience

• Forecasting and Planning experience

• Excel proficiency

• Understanding of broad range of accounting principles

• Continuous improvement mindset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or global equivalents)

The holder of the role will have consolidation experience, ideally but not essentially using Unicom/Cognos.

Forecasting and Planning experience is required, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
