ABM Industries Administrative Assistant in Houston, Texas
Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides a variety of advanced administrative and secretarial duties in support of the Project Manager and site. Work assignments are complex in nature, and require considerable judgment, tact, creativity, and initiative in order to resolve problems.
Days/Shift: In office, Monday through Friday, 2pm - 11pm.
Pay: $18.30/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs a variety of administrative tasks focused on allowing the Project Manager to lead and manage their business task more efficiently.
Takes independent action on handling requests; determines the appropriate course of action, intervenes where necessary, and acts as a liaison between departments.
Coordinates data from a variety of sources for inclusion in technical reports and presentations; performs independent research and prepares information for special projects as assigned.
Administers and updates the department’s reporting, maintaining supporting documents.
Prepares documents and presentation materials.
Perform site inspections, walking the site
Pick up paychecks from corporate office, as needed
Coordination of badging efforts in close cooperation with Operations, Recruiting and Training.
Support key elements of the recruiting process including screening, feedback and gathering information
Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain strict confidentiality of candidate and employee information
Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous administrative experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel skills
Employee must be internet savvy.
