Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role operates within the industry, focusing on high volume B2B collections. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining records, all while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high volume B2B collections efficiently and effectively.

• Utilize Oracle and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to organize and analyze data.

• Operate independently, demonstrating strong communication skills.

• Manage customer accounts, monitoring for any necessary actions.

• Process customer applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date customer credit records.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Collection Processes, Collector, Credit, and Customer Service to perform tasks.

• Ensure all actions comply with relevant industry standards.

• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, demonstrating an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Accurint

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Understanding of Billing Functions

• Experience in Collection Processes

• Ability to work as a Collector

• Knowledge of Credit processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills
