Freedom Solar Pros, LLC DBA Solar Pros (Houston, TX) seeks 40 F/T Temp. Door-to-Door Sales Representatives: 04/01/2025 - 10/1/2025. 35 hours/week. 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Mon-Fri). Saturday work required, when necessary. $24.51/hour (OT $36.77/hour) paid bi-weekly on Friday. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Bonuses, commissions, or raises may be paid to any worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, sales, skill and tenure. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. H-2B application to be concurrently filed with USDOL. Duties: The Door-to-Door Solar Sales Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying new customers and closing contracts through door-to-door in-home presentations of solar systems with potential residential customers for solar system installation in the homes of customers. Raise awareness of solar power and battery storage and build/sell custom residential solar system packages unique to each customers home. Ensure customer expectation and company offerings are aligned in terms of the solar home packages being built and offered. Attend daily in-market trainings provided by local leadership. Ensure customer satisfaction by answering phone calls and emails from new customers regarding installed package. Work in all weather conditions. Frequent and extensive walking to prospective customer residences. No education or experience required. On-the-job training provided. Post-hire background check may be required at employers expense. Employer will provide to the worker without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Daily transportation to/from worksite will be provided to the workers at no charge (e.g. designated daily pick-up place). Worksite at: 15550 Vickery Drive, STE 100, Houston, TX 77032. Travel to locations within the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX MSA. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place, the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
