Hunton Services a division of The Hunton Group (https://huntongroup.com/) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while learning from skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of commercial electrical systems, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform various tasks related to electrical installations and maintenance. This position is on site at Hunton Services Midvale Building located in Houston, TX 77087.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings according to project specifications.
Run rigid and flexible conduit for electrical wiring and equipment.
Terminate connections according to schematics, ensuring all installations are safe and compliant.
Bend and thread conduit to ensure proper fit and routing of electrical wiring.
Use an electrical meter to test circuits and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines to ensure all electrical work is compliant with industry standards.
Assist senior electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines and demands.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of commercial electrical systems and installations.
Familiarity with the NEC Code and willingness to continue learning about electrical standards.
Ability to run and terminate wires according to schematics and blueprints.
Experience or willingness to learn how to bend and thread conduit.
Proficiency in using electrical meters to test voltage, current, and other electrical parameters.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and following all company guidelines.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work overtime and adjust to fluctuating work schedules based on project needs.
Additional Skills: (Preferred but not required):
Previous experience or coursework related to commercial electrical work.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
