We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding work behaviors to join our team as a Field Application Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. The individual’s primary responsibility will be to enable the rapid success of our customers, in clinical and environmental laboratories using our Triple Quadrupole and Orbitrap systems for quantitative and qualitative small molecule analysis.

What will you do?

• Compete in a fast-paced environment to deliver exceptional customer service and support

• Build new customer advocates from newly completed sales.

• Assist with customer demonstrations as appropriate.

• Prepare and present technical seminars to existing and potential customers, either as part of the sales process or at organized events.

• Collaborate with research teams to determine their specific needs and provide flawless technical support

• Contribute to the development and improvement of content; include company hosted websites, videos, seminars, applications reports, eLearning material, etc.

How will you get here?

• 5+ years of related experience with a master’s degree is required or 2+ years of related experience with a PhD is preferred.

• 3+ year hands on LCMS experience.

• Experience with qualitative and quantitative LCMS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to travel up to 75%.
