Hunton Rental Solutions (https://hrsrental.com/) is seeking to hire a Rental Technician - Power to provide service to maximize the availability of Temperature Control and Power rental assets for equipment across our client base. In this role, the selected individual will be responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and decommissioning of temporary rental equipment. Minimum of 2-5 years of rental maintenance and/or service experience on TRANE or other OEM chillers is preferred. Selected individual must also be able to work in both a team and in an individual setting with limited to no supervision.

Responsibilities:
Carry out the preventative and scheduled maintenance of hire fleet assets for optimized performance
Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and maintained
Install/Decommission custom job installations on customer sites
Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment
Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime
Safely use various hand and power tools
Willingness to help train and mentor other technicians
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation daily
Work in a safe manner abiding by the company policy
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years)
Tech certifications and Factory training from other OEM's is a plus
Must have a strong systems knowledge of Airside, Waterside and Controls
Diesel generator experience and training is a plus
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
2 years' rental HVAC experience (chillers & generators)
5 years' experience servicing Trane or other OEM chillers
Able to read electrical schematics and diagrams
Universal EPA refrigerant certification
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
Willing to work overtime as needed
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
