Summary (Scope of the Job)
Cotton Holdings is actively looking for an Assistant Project Manager for one of its subsidiaries, Target Solutions. The Assistant Project Manager responsibilities will include providing direction and coordination of a project. This includes most aspects of the project to include performance, administration, documentation, safety, and customer contact.
This is a traveling position. Candidate will manage onsite crews and the project. Will be responsible for operational production, supervision of Restoration Supervisors, labor efficiency, following job schedules, communication with Project Managers including daily paperwork and pictures are completed and submit at completion. Ensure a safe and clean job site.
Key Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities
Communicate with operations daily on a project to ensure projects are running smoothly
Keep customers and Project Managers (PM) informed and up to date on all project activities to promote good customer service
Adhere to all company protocol, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, etc.
Responsible for ensuring that the service quality is at the company’s highest standard
Work with a budget on a project to ensure profitability
Pull permits, initiate, and follow through to ensure all necessary paperwork is in the project file
Assist in developing a Site Safety Plan to communicate and be followed by Field Supervisors and labor force
Assist in obtaining appropriate job documents; Work Authorizations, Change Orders, Certificate of Satisfaction
Participate in safety investigations to minimize risk
Conduct and document safety toolbox meetings
Provide feedback (positive or negative) to Operation and Production Managers regarding individual jobs as needed
Maintain the highest of integrity to ensure the company is viewed in the most positive manner
Understanding of workflow procedures and systems
Working knowledge of Programs
Sourcing and hiring of subcontractors and vendors to meet project requirements
Provide onsite crew direction on daily activities and documentation
Meeting client and adjuster needs on site
Conflict Resolution between Target Solutions and client
Maintain professional communication with client, adjuster, subcontractors, onsite labor force
Maintain a professional manner at all times to include; Appearance, Hygiene, and Speech
Ability to travel extensively, up to 95% of time
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Background Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Experience:
Property Restoration Project Knowledge and Experience – REQUIRED
IICRC Certified – REQUIRED
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification – PREFERRED
Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings - PREFERRED
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of workflow procedures and systems
Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus
Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Proven organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks based on client needs
Proven ability to build relationships
Ability to travel extensively as business needs arise REQUIRED
Good driving record:
Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable driving experience
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
No repeat seat belt violations
No high-speed moving violations in the past 3 years
