Sysco Sr. Manager National Sales Enablement in HOUSTON, Texas

Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, National Sales Enablement will join a team that will be responsible for helping Sysco transform how we enable our contract sales organizations in North America through industry-leading best practices and tools. This role is part of the National Sales Execution team and works closely with the Director of Organizational Effectiveness.

Specifically, this role will be responsible for designing sales processes for the National and Field Contract Sales team, defining technology required to enable the design, and developing training content to enable National Sales Strategy in our field contract sales organization

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and translate best practices across industries to develop innovative solutions that deliver business and operational efficiencies

  • Define standard sales processes for national and field contract sales associates to enable customer retention, penetration, and profitability.

  • Define business requirements for CRM system to enable defined sales processes; ensure alignment with broader sales organization processes and tools

  • Engage national and field contract sales associates to gain feedback, pressure test new enhancements and ensure adoption of processes and tools

  • Create training materials on sales processes and CRM enhancements for use by the field contract sales organization

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field of study or equivalent job experience

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of experience working in Salesforce platform or other CRM technologies

  • 2+ years of experience implementing technologies

  • Experience in applying change management and adoption methods

Experience Preferred:

  • Previous foodservice experience, specifically in multi-unit sales

Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated capability for strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and measurement

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills

  • Able to effectively lead and manage complex projects

  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively across corporate and field functional areas

  • Extremely versatile, with a dedication to efficient productivity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Work Environment:

  • This position will be headquartered at the Corporate facility in Houston, Texas
