Siemens Energy Technical Business Support A35 New Unit in Houston, Texas

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • The Technical Business Support role for A35 New Unit reports into the A20/A35 Portfolio to generate technical solutions in collaboration with the customer facing new equipment organisation (GCO). These solutions will meet the end customer requirements to differentiate the A35 attributes from the competitor’s products.

  • You will influence the A35 product roadmap to ensure future development activity is aligned with customer requirements

  • You will field, coordinate, and respond to inquiries on GG\PT performance, operability, and reliability

  • You will provide input to product planning based on customer\industry needs & trends

  • You will evaluate risk and provide pragmatic solutions to support sales

  • You will support approvers of the TLOA process as needed

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or related field.

  • 10+ years experience in a technical, sales or operational role working with Aeroderivative technologies

  • Solid understanding of the operation of the A35 Gas Turbine and its components with the ability to clearly communicate the product attributes to end customers

  • Ability to navigate and influence a complex organisation without technical or organisational authority

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills in MS Office, including word processing, email, and spreadsheets.

  • Ability to travel Internationally up to 15% of time

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
