We have an exciting opportunity for a Test & Verification Engineer - Lunar Terrain Vehicle Ground Test Unit to join the team with JETS II Teammate Company , Nexus Solutions.
Responsibilities:
Work with NASA Engineering teams to manage the assessment of certification products
As part of the larger team, review products such as Test and Verification plans and Qualification Test Reports
Facilitate review of certification products such as qualification test reports and identify key stakeholders and technical expert reviewers
Review and approve verification approvals to make sure that all testing requirements have been met
Support T&V Forums, Product Assurance Activity (PAA) Forums, Engineering Review Boards, and V&V Panels
Work in a team environment and report to the team lead to provide status on progress and issues and for support
Facilitate across various stakeholders to achieve integration of both technical and program objectives
Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors and LTV vendor(s)
Perform other duties as required to support LTV GTU (Lunar Terrain Vehicle Ground Test Unit)
Qualifications
Requisition Qualifications:

Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's degree a minimum of 10-15 years of related experience
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection.
Knowledge of systems engineering principles and associated documentation
Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
Experience working in a team environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
Requisition Preferences:
Working knowledge of NASA and JSC standard practices and requirements including safety, fault tolerance, and unique disciplines
Experience with the development of space systems requirements documents including Verification and Validation documents
Experience with the design, assembly, verification, testing, and operation of hardware
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification
Familiarity with NASA/JSC documentation databases and share point sites as well as typical systems engineering products
