Operations provides warehousing, packaging, transportation, bleach manufacture, and office support functions for the district or Company. The operator performs various functions in the compressed gas filling process.

Responsibilities: Performs all tasks associated with the filling of compressed gas cylinders and/or ton containers, such as evacuating, cleaning, inspecting, testing, painting, replacing valves, filling, and tagging. -Rebuilds cylinder valves. -Loads and unloads trucks and trailers, including tankers. -Completes filling logs and other plant reports. -Connects and disconnects railcars. -Manufactures bleach. -Analyzes product samples. -Performs minor maintenance tasks on equipment or piping. -Attends safety and training classes. -Assists with general plant housekeeping. -Visually inspects cylinders and ton containers and their removable components -Required to be a part of the Emergency Response Team when requested -Other duties as assigned. May be required to perform any or all of the previous job tasks, depending upon the organization and size of the plant.
