TEKsystems is looking to hire a Desktop Support Technician who will be responsible for providing technical support to internal employees ensuring that all desktop systems and A/V conference room setups are functioning optimally. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, assist with the setup and maintenance of A/V equipment, and provide exceptional customer service to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

• Set up, configure, and maintain A/V conference room equipment.

• Assist with the installation and deployment of new devices and software.

• Perform regular maintenance and updates on desktop systems and A/V equipment.

• Respond to and resolve technical support tickets in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery.

• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.

• Provide training and support to employees on the use of A/V equipment and software.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, software, and hardware.

• Experience with A/V conference room setup and support.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
