Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician with prior experience in sUAS assembly and small component assembly. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of subsystems in an sUAS, the ability to troubleshoot, and working knowledge of part numbering, BOM structures, and how they integrate into a product. Experience with schematic/blueprint/work instructions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small components with precision.

• Troubleshoot subsystems in an sUAS.

• Utilize hand tools and soldering skills (although not regularly required).

• Review customer equipment and perform critical inspections.

• Support production and RMA schedules through effective time management.

• Assist with Root Cause and Correction Analysis (RCCA) with team members.

• Recognize and report trends in failures and components to the QA department.

• Apply consistent methods and processes meticulously.

Work Environment

The work environment is located on Maysville Rd, Huntsville, AL. The standard work shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work required. The team currently includes 20 contractors. This is a dynamic startup environment that is actively growing and partnering with the Army and Air Force for UAS capabilities and new UAS product development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
