DIESEL MECHANICS NEEDED ASAP IN ALBANY – ALL LEVELS

CLASS A AND MASTER MECHANICS NEEDED ASAP IN KINGSTON NY

We are seeking a few skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet. (Primarily working on coach diesel buses.)

Monday through Friday (Albany), Various shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in motor coaches and trucks. Service and maintain all types of engines.

• Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel engines.

• Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems. Fix brakes, hydraulic, and ignition systems

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles.

• Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.

• Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years’ experience with diesel vehicles. ( Primarily working on coach diesel buses.)

• Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment

• Must be able to multitask.

• Assist parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.

• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

• A Valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• A strong work ethic, integrity, and a willingness to learn.

• The ability to work independently and to also function well within a team.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
