Sales Development Representative

Job Description:

You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with businesses that could be our future customers or are already in our eco-system and are looking to overcome challenges, solve a problem or deliver against their goals. Working with our industry leading demand generation teams, you will reach out to those businesses enquiring or engaging with marketing content to educate them through insights and conversation, to inform how we can help them deliver their goals through our services.

About the team

Our team is responsible for supporting customers at all stages in their journey with Sage, but primarily focuses on new customer acquisition.

• You need to be focused and be able to motivate yourself. Taking positive actions, being open to giving and receiving feedback and guidance is also important

• You are decisive, bold and you flex your approach and style to suit the situation. Often this is a natural talent, but we can help you a bit with it too Collaborate with colleagues across Sage, including Marketing, Business

• Development, Sales Development, Product and Customer Success to build and execute industry aligned go-to market plans Confidently tell the Sage story, deeply understand the Sage solutions, proposition

differentiators, and maintain market and vertical knowledge.

Your Profile

• You regularly showcase your personal brand and professional presence, including the use of Social Media platforms

• Your opportunities are driven from curiosity and include business insight with a desire to generate customer engagement

• You build rapport readily and easily with customers

• You use insight to create questions to uncover customer needs and apply an active listening model

• You're curious to uncover our customers strategic goals, challenges and KPis and have a solid understanding of how our solution can positively impact the customer.

• You're eager to learn and develop and enjoy working as part of a team

• You're highly motivated and target driven

• You're resilient and have a driven approach

Key performance metrics

• Delivery of qualified opportunities

  • Support in the delivery of ARR and new logos

• Customer NPS and personal CSAT
