As a Global Compensation Manager, you’ll drive high-impact compensation initiatives that align with our global business strategy. Partnering with Senior Reward Leadership, People Business Partners, and Business Leaders, you’ll ensure that Sage makes data-driven, high-value investments in rewarding our people—enhancing program effectiveness and the perceived value of compensation. This role is an opportunity to lead the evolution of Sage’s global compensation programs, optimizing LTI, STI, and pay structures to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a dynamic, fast-scaling organization. If you have deep expertise in incentive plan design (75%), strong analytical skills, and experience providing strategic compensation business partnering (25%) to a client group, this role is for you.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week from our Atlanta Office (Ponce City Market)
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of compensation experience with a strong background in market data, STI policy design, and LTI policy design.
• Experience providing compensation guidance and partnering to client groups within North America and some exposure to Europe - understanding market nuances.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with expertise in developing complex automated Excel models to manage large data sets.
• Strong track record of designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs—including base pay, short-term variable pay and stock-based compensation.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with client group and stakeholders at senior level and become a trusted and credible partner, educating and influencing.
• Effective coaching skills and ability to translate compensation concepts into practical, easy-to-use tools for colleagues.
• Experienced in developing educational materials and delivering presentations to large audiences (500+ attendees).

Incentive Plan Design & Strategic Advisory:
• Manage the annual review, design enhancements and implementation of the Sage broad base LTI plan, ensuring it is competitive against the external market and continues to drive the right behaviors and culture at Sage.
• Oversee the continued enhancements to the STI programs.
• Support the Compensation Director / VP Reward in the delivery of strategic compensation projects by providing recommendations that are aligned to our compensation philosophy and supported by the data
Strategic Partnering:
• Accountable for compensation in their client group, executing on the program of work agreed with the Compensation Director.
• Responsible for project planning and management of compensation-related projects, overseeing the work of external compensation consultants where required, directing the development of communications materials, determining program implementation requirements and working with People Services to define compensation processes.
• Proactively identify efficiencies for the area you support and challenge business leaders when appropriate while working with the Reward CoE to find solutions.
• Accountable for executing on the annual pay, bonus and LTIP review, ensuring the best value is achieved from the spend for the area supported.
