As the Capability Owner for the Sales Enablement Systems (SES) Global Center of Excellence, you will manage and execute projects, collaborate with stakeholders worldwide, and ensure successful Salesforce implementations. A Day in the Life

The Commercial Learning & Development (L&D) Effectiveness and LMS/LXP Administrator is a critical role responsible for overseeing the evaluation and optimization of training programs and the effective management of the Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Experience Platform (LXP). This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in data analysis, learning systems, and project management to ensure the alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals, streamline processes, and enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Effectiveness:

• Collect and analyze training data to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training programs.

• Assess the alignment of training outcomes with organizational goals.

• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in employee learning and development.

• Produce and automate quarterly reports to share insights and recommendations with stakeholders.

• Evaluate training outcomes at various levels, including learner satisfaction, knowledge acquisition, behavior change, business impact, and return on investment (ROI).

LMS/LXP Administration:

• Manage the daily operations of the LMS/LXP, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and user accessibility.

• Develop and maintain efficient processes for course deployment, user management, and reporting.

• Design and implement templates and guidelines to standardize course creation and facilitate ease of use.

• Provide technical support and training to Commercial Training teams and end-users, enhancing their ability to use the LMS/LXP autonomously.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working with internal and platform SMEs for higher-level support.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Collaborate with the CoEs of Data & Analitics & SEE Systems gather and analyze training data within the broader data lake (SnowFlake anabled).

• Use data to identify enablers of success and barriers hindering progress.

• Make data-driven recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve training program outcomes.

Strategic and Critical Thinking:

• Analyze training needs strategically and align them with business objectives.

• Utilize critical thinking skills to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.

• Challenge legacy customizations and promote standardized usage of the new version of our LMS/LXP (Totara 18).

• Improve data collection from the different Commercial Training Deployment teams promoting the same standardized usage of the new version of our LMS/LXP (Totara 18).

Project Management:

• Plan, organize, and socialize the training effectiveness strategy across deployment teams.

• Lead projects to implement enhancements to the LMS/LXP based on user feedback and best practices in learning technology (collaborating with the Totara Partner of Choice that Medtronic is working with).

• Identify opportunities to integrate into the LMS/LXP interactive elements like gamification and even a properly designed usage of AI

• Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the LMS/LXP remains a cutting-edge tool for Commercially specific education and development.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field.

• Overall 9+ years of experience and minimum of 3+ years of experience in LMS administration or a similar role.

• Strong technical skills with experience in LMS/LXP platforms, data analysis, and reporting tools (experience with the Totara LXP system is a plus).

• Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail.

• Proven track record of creating lean processes and effective templates for learning systems.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support and train diverse teams.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

• Innovative and proactive problem-solving mindset.

• Familiarity with learning and development strategies and measuring training effectiveness.
