Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems

  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

  • Maintains certifications and attends training when available and appropriate

  • Assists leadership in identifying opportunities for process improvement within and outside of the department

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration

  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

  • Experience integrating accounts with Active Directory authentication

  • Solid knowledge of RHEL 7/8/9 and related technologies

  • Advanced understanding of firewalls and F5 load balancers

  • Advanced troubleshooting performance related issues

  • Working with On Prem and Cloud Infrastructure

  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

  • Proven ability in leading and driving critical infrastructure projects

  • Proven team collaboration and mentorship

  • Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with leaders, business users, and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification

  • Experience working with the Service Now application

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Working knowledge of Dynatrace, Zabbix and other performance monitoring tools

  • Working knowledge of CHEF

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

  • Understanding of network protocols and security best practices

  • Proficient working with Satellite

  • Proficient working with Ansible and creating playbooks

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
