About the Role

The primary aim of the position is to drive our capability and culture in line with the business needs. This position provides for a wide variety of work with initiatives covering the entire employee life cycle. You’ll be responsible for providing HR partnership to the business leaders that contributes to an engaged workforce and more productive business as well as operationalizing the people plans for evolving the business function and capabilities. This role will be involved in planning, delivering, and executing the people strategies, overseeing all day-to-day HR activities for the business group and providing thought leadership to the Leadership Teams, delivering talent management and change management priorities to deliver results against the people strategies. You will also own a range of special projects which vary based on business needs and requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Understand the business priorities and work with business leaders to develop people priorities and deliver the People & Culture strategy.

  • Understand the workforce needs and ensure business is set up for success in terms of resourcing and capabilities.

  • Coach leaders in HR Processes, Talent Development and creating a high-performance culture.

  • Provide thought leadership and consultation/support on people and organizational issues: collectively, directly and through matrix management throughout the organization, leveraging resources, programs and tools to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Implement strategies to improve employee engagement year over year, as measured through employee surveys.

  • Support talent management and succession planning activities within assigned client groups and matrixed organizations

  • Proactively partner with the business and HR partners in Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to support strategies to strengthen or fill gaps, as needed, to ensure a ready now talent pipeline.

  • Deploy appropriate retention strategies to promote organizational stability.

  • Analyze HR metrics and reporting to deliver key insights and identify business opportunities, and work with leaders to develop and implement solutions.

  • Actively participate with APAC HR team members and leaders on people programming

  • Manage a range of special projects based on business needs and P&C Strategy

  • Drive HR programmatic execution with precision and efficiency

Who You Are

  • Seasoned HR professionals with high level of proficiency in most HR disciplines (employee relations, compensation & benefits, OD/OE) and strong Talent Development and Talent Management experience in sizable global companies.

  • Capable of driving change initiatives and embracing innovation in face of ambiguity and complexity – preferred OD/OE skillset.

  • Proven strategic mindset balanced with strong implementation expertise; drive for results and desire to win.

  • High level of personal and professional integrity and ethics (authentic, compassionate, genuine and honest); good communicator; good listening skills

  • Ability to analyze data to deliver key insights and translate into recommended talent solutions

  • Strong project management skills to conceptualize, plan, and execute against agreed budget & deliverables.

  • Strong business orientation, drive for results, and desire to win.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously changing strategies to drive business needs forward.

  • Cross cultural awareness and an appreciation for different ways of working will be critical success factors in this role.

  • Ability to influence and make recommendations and decisions cross-functionally in a matrix environment (ensuring speed and cultural sensitivity)

  • Strong communications and presentation skills
