To facilitate this transformation, a new Business Operations Business Unit is being established, bringing together existing business service activities, and driving further expansion of centralized services at scale into a global unit, with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity. This new Business Unit will enable the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities across the organization, incorporating and engaging disparate teams from across areas such as R&D, M&S, the Corporate Functions and GBUs into new global Service Delivery Towers with initial services spanning Commercial, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture.

Reporting to the Head of S2P Delivery, the Vendor Master Data Management Analyst plays a critical role in driving the effective management and governance of vendor master data ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the source-to-pay process.

Main responsibilities

  • Data Governance : Following the Core model, maintain robust processes for the governance and integrity of vendor master data.

  • Data Quality Management : Monitor and enhance data quality, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in the vendor master database.

  • Vendor Onboarding & Modification : Collaborate with business and procurement teams to facilitate the onboarding & modification of new vendors, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data. Ensure awareness of Business functions of processes for Vendor Creation/modification.

  • Compliance : Enforce compliance with data standards, policies, and regulations related to vendor master data management.

  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains in vendor master data management and feedback to Business process owner.

  • Reporting : Generate regular reports on the status and quality of vendor master data, providing insights to relevant stakeholders.

  • Issue Resolution : Investigate and resolve vendor creation/modification and vendor data-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address root causes.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment to Core vendor master data processes and broader organizational objectives.

About you

  • Experience: Experience in data management, vendor master data, or a similar role.

  • Soft and Technical skills: Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. Proficient in data management tools and systems. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data quality. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional areas. Familiarity with procurement processes and source-to-pay operations. Experience with data management platforms and technologies.

  • Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Management, or a related field.
