DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Global Head of Executive Recruiting to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • White-Glove Service for Senior Talent: Deliver an unparalleled, personalized recruitment experience for C-suite and senior executive candidates.

  • Spearhead direct recruitment efforts for all C-suite positions globally and lead a team of senior managers who support all global Director and above requisitions.

  • Global Executive Recruitment: Develop and implement strategic approaches to sourcing, attracting, and selecting world-class leadership talent across diverse markets and cultures.

  • Ensure a high-touch, seamless process that reflects the Cummins brand and values.

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition Initiatives: Design and execute innovative strategies to enhance our executive recruitment process and bring your best-practices to influence your peers globally.

  • Collaboration with COE Partners: Partner closely to integrate succession planning insights into recruitment strategies.

  • Build relationships with strategic talent communities to build robust and inclusive leadership pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Lead the overall delivery of recruitment and employment branding strategies, processes, and initiatives in alignment with business goals.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and company policies and standards for all recruitment activities.

  • Partner with business and HR leadership to align recruitment activities with business goals.

  • Direct company-wide recruitment activities and strategic talent acquisition approaches, ensuring process and cost effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in top executive recruitment search agencies, preferably in a global context

  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and best practices at executive levels

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills

  • Ability to work with high levels of discretion and maintain confidentiality

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

  • Significant level of relevant work experience, including leadership and budgetary experience, required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with executive search firms and RPO partners

  • Ensure strict confidentiality and discretion throughout the recruitment process

  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement

  • Team leadership and development, aligned with CMI leadership culture

  • Build and maintain diverse talent pools across all functions

  • Collaborate with business and HR leadership on workforce planning

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Base salary range: $130,500 - $217,500

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
