ManpowerGroup Assembler - Inwood in Inwood, West Virginia
Location: Inwood, WV
Starting Pay: $17-$18
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembler I to work for a local client in Inwood, WV. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling finished products to meet our customers' specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You’ll ensure all components are correctly assembled, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up your work area and prepare tools and materials for efficient assembly.
Assemble parts and components according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
Use hand tools and other equipment as necessary to complete the assembly process.
Safely stack completed products and follow procedures for labeling, covering, and banding as required.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Perform a pre-shift equipment inspection and report any issues or concerns.
Maintain accurate production records and document any necessary information.
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Follow established safety, quality, and procedural guidelines at all times.
Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other company programs and meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus (6 months preferred but not mandatory).
Basic math skills are preferred for measurements and assembly tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
