We’re seeking a driven and client-focused Water Resource Recovery Project Manager to join our water/wastewater treatment and conveyance team in any of our Southern California offices (Los Angeles or Irvine). As a key member of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects - planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning.
You will be leading a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or other related degree.
At least 10 years of experience in relevant water/wastewater industry.
Experience planning and designing small to large treatment and conveyance projects involving complex, multidiscipline, municipal wastewater treatment design projects.
Licensed CA Professional Engineer (Civil).
Proven ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals and/or reports.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities.
Ideally, you'll also have:
A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Los Angeles/Orange County experience
Ability to serve as the technical liaison/leader between the project owner and the design team
Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills that can be combined with the significant resources that we have available across Jacobs to gain market share
Experience support business development activities with local clients
