Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Conceptualize and enhance various systems and processes for operational efficiency, data quality and transparency by developing mapping documents and workflow improvements across key processes and systems. Develop individual project artifacts including Business Requirements Documentation, Functional Requirement Documentation, test planning and scenarios documents for user acceptance testing, and project plans as required for key technical deliverables. Elicit requirements, develop project plans, perform project status checks, and review and sign-off on project documents including JIRAs, BRDs, and FRDs. Conduct strategic data analysis using advanced tools such as SQL (ORACLE) to identify insights and implications, make strategic recommendations, and develop data visualization using tools such as Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Excel that communicate complex analysis. Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Create data dictionaries to help catalog and communicate the structure and content of data with descriptions for individually named data objects, data types, domain definitions, and corporate meta-data definitions to improve data visibility and analysis accuracy. Provide support in production as part of a global rotation process. Solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommend solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Conducting data analysis utilizing SQL programming, Oracle Database, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Fundamental Statistics, and Data Visualization, as well as Data Warehousing for Project Requirement Gathering and analysis; Working with Investment instruments (Equity Securities, Fixed Income) and performing Corporate Actions (Voluntary/Mandatory Corporate Actions, Conversions, Splits, Warrants, Exchanges, Liquidations, Bankruptcies, Dividends) related to project estimates, planning and deliveries; Handling ISO 20022 and 15022 Corporate Action data/file format, and analyzing, designing, and issuing resolutions for Vendor Data Processing and deliveries; Using data Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) process for analyzing, designing, issuing resolutions and vendor data analysis; Managing user Interface Design/Enhancement Microsoft Visio for creating process flows, diagrams, and UI/UX Wireframes as functional Requirements Documentation; and Writing Business and Functional Requirement/Specification documents, WIKI/Confluence Documentation, and Technical Documentation with JIRA as part of project documentation. 40 hrs./wk.
