Job Description

As a member of the Client Audit Management (CAM) team, the Client Audit Analyst supports the planning, preparation, and execution of audits performed by or on behalf of Prime’s clients, owners, regulatory bodies, or other third parties. The Client Audit Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and implementation of Client Audit Management policies, procedures, training and program documentation related to audit processes and implementation.

The focus of this Client Audit Analyst role is to provide behind-the-scenes support to the CAM team in the area of Data Management and Analytics related to audit deliverables. Some of the responsibilities include tracking data requests, understanding how Prime processes and system changes impact data needs, interpreting and translating external audit deliverable requirements into data requests, assisting with preliminary data file quality review to ensure data files meet stated file criteria, data mapping, and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to identify, document, and influence changes needed to improve external audit data output.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain CAM’s online data management to support effective response and reporting capabilities and distribution to internal stakeholders; coordinate efforts to optimize and enhance CAM tools and resources

  • Lead efforts in the documentation and socialization of Prime’s client audit program and assist with implementation and execution efforts; establish key points of contact across the business to ensure changes are reflected in cross-functional processes

  • Monitor and triage email communications received in the departmental mailbox; intake all audit notifications and initiate audit staging activities, such as database entry, specialist and/or advisor assignment, requesting data and procuring evidence, coordinating audit logistics, and document management

  • Support development, improvement and documentation of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)s, Desktop Procedures(DTPs), process flows, and audit tools/templates; establish a process to regularly review, revise, and socialize final documentation to CAM members and/or operational compliance partners across Prime

  • Coordinate and maintain CAM training resources based on direction from CAM leadership; provide training as needed

  • Complete audit management activities for selected audits of low complexity; lead small to medium cross-functional initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Services, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in audit, compliance or operations within a regulated environment

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively distill complex information into clear and compelling analytics, reporting, and leadership briefings

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, establish rapport and collaborate effectively within department, internally and externally, and at all levels within an organization; ability to confidently represent the business and interact with external entities

  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills

  • Enhanced organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PBM/health care experience

  • Medicare Part D/Medicaid/Commercial or ACA experience

  • Experience in an audit function

  • Experience with process documentation, data file requirement interpretation, and gathering and communicating data file requirements

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Minimal travel may be required

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule outside of Prime’s core business hours to occasionally accommodate different time zones and during critical client audits

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to a Manager in the Compliance department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $64,700.00 - $97,100.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
