    A Day in the Life

    This is a dual role within the IT Cosmetics DMI Go to Market team, reporting to the head of Global Head of Business Development with a dotted line reporting into the Global Head of Digital.

    This person will lead the IT Cosmetics APAC Business Development (N. Asia, SAPMENA, India) & Global Omnimedia Guidelines, including paid media activation funnel recommendation, partnering with DMI Marketing / CE / Digital and drive markets on creating, testing & optimizing paid media according to CDMO best practices & the media platform strategy per launch.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in beauty or FMCG

  • Strong analytical skills & sense of business: comfortable with large data sets, market research reports + ability to synthesize & effectively draw conclusions. Familiarity with P&L Management / interpretation

  • Demonstrate capacity for high level strategic, combined with ability to zoom in / attention to detail

  • Strong executive presence & ability to interact effectively with DMI cross functional partners, zones, drive markets and senior management. Ability to influence.

  • Strong capacity for written & verbal communication, as well as presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage complexity. Organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Preferred: Background working with and an understanding of APAC markets

  • Preferred: Operational marketing background and/or familiarity with multi-channel marketing campaigns including content & performance metrics

    Responsibilities

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Support zones & markets in developing a profitable business model for top line, bottom-line and market share growth.

  • Partner with all DMI cross functional stake holders & zones and markets to ensure O+O Go to market excellence & best in class 360 activation plans.

  • Be the voice of the markets within the DMI: elevating and advocating strategic insights and consumer centric needs that influence brand strategy and panier and drive the brand forward

  • Support the global development of IT Cosmetics business, in line with the Brand vision, strategy & business model, ensuring both top line and profitable growth.

  • Focus: Optimize & scale the ITC brand in existing & new markets

  • Manage, as the main point of contact and in partnership with the VP of Global Go To Market, the relationship with the North Asia, SAPMENA and India on a daily basis

  • Understanding of both the global beauty market + develop a deep expertise in their specific regions: consumer, trends, market dynamics, competitive set, omni retail & be capable of drawing conclusions & making recommendations accordingly.

  • Coordinate cross-functional DMI players to cater to operational market needs for these Zones (360 go to market, operations, assortment, retail design, education, digital etc..) to help achieve business targets.

  • Recommend sizing, pricing, media investment and directional financial targets for the Zones within scope to guide mid and long-term growth.

  • As needed, ensure proper launch of new markets in partnership with local zone: Coordinate within the DMI all the levers / teams to assure a successful launch & 360 go to market. Partner with local zone on assortment, merchandising, KPIs, 3-year business plan, eventing, preparation for retail meetings, distro expansion etc.

  • Withing the global brand frame, identify actionable initiatives & the right business model for the region:

  • Distribution expansion

  • P&L understanding & regionally specific recommendations

  • Best practice sharing

  • Relationships and Communication:

  • Ensure clear communication and good working relations with all parties (internal and external) to ensure the development of the Brand globally

  • Create a collaborative atmosphere internally & externally

  • Comfort influencing global content calendars aligned with marketing goals across regions.

  • Elevate & share regional insights and best practices to influence and grow other regions / rest of brand.

    OMNI MEDIA

  • Collaborate with Global Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Digital and Creative teams to develop optimized brand & launch content for Paid media (hero, digital & social)

  • Understanding of media consumption habits across consumer targets & platforms to influence content for specific channel and target

  • Develop & distribute internally and externally Omnimedia guidelines for the brand including media strategy linked with business objectives, CDMO creative content guidelines per platform, and creative safety margins.

  • Work with cross functional DMI teams, GBD, Zone & Drive Markets (marketing & media specialists) to optimize asset lists, video + static content/storyboarding, improved creative via AI feedback tools (vidmob), and assure a feedback loop from Drive markets based on performance KPIs for future content creation.

  • Upskill DMI on latest trends, competitive analysis, and content best-practices on a quarterly basis to ensure higher local adoption rates.

    What We Offer
