Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java/J2EE Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a self-starting attitude, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Java/J2EE Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Pay Range: Best in the Segment on W2
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Angular frameworks.
Convert existing Java/J2EE applications to Angular framework-based applications.
Participate in the full application development life cycle, including design, build, test, deployment, operations support, and maintenance.
Collaborate with Agile development teams to initiate and complete Epics, Stories, and Tasks.
Follow best practices and bank policies while developing applications.
What's Needed?
Proficiency in Spring Boot, Angular framework, and Python.
Experience with Oracle SQL and integration skills for banking financial management.
Strong understanding of Linux scripting.
Ability to work with wireframes and source-target data mapping.
Experience in Agile development methodologies, particularly Kanban.
