Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals. This team is responsible for providing a differentiated Customer experience for our customers, del Win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leaders, maximizing Customer spend, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption). Delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.
As an Account Executive for the Public Safety, Justice, National Security, Defence, and Intelligence portfolio, you will drive transformation by partnering with our most strategic customers. Your focus will be on AI, Copilot, and Security to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes. By leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, you will engage at the most senior levels of your customers, bringing industry-relevant solutions to help them adopt and embrace digital technologies.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Transformation: Partner with our most strategic customers, focusing on AI, Copilot, and Security to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes.
Leverage Teams: Utilize a large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio.
Senior Engagement: Engage at the most senior levels of customers, bringing industry-relevant solutions to help them adopt and embrace digital technologies.
Sales Execution: Utilize your sales experience to execute against the customer’s account plan.
Sales Excellence:
Customer Feedback: Actively seek customer feedback to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. Create long-term strategies aimed at maintaining levels of customer satisfaction.
Thought Leadership: Position yourself as a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive-level business decision makers. Leverage best-in-class sales and communication techniques to build stronger relationships with decision makers.
Value Proposition: Engage decision makers to clearly articulate Microsoft's value proposition aligned to customer's business objectives. Translate features into business impact and outcomes that accelerate the customer's digital presence.
Presentations: Develop compelling, value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes. Demonstrate thought leadership and present business plans to generate new opportunities.
Upselling/Cross-Selling: Develop and implement plans for maximizing upselling/cross-selling opportunities. Highlight Microsoft's and partners' solutions to solve additional business and technology issues.
Industry Knowledge:
- Industry Expertise: Exhibit deep knowledge of the Public Safety, Justice, National Security, Defence, and Intelligence sectors, including current trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Leverage this industry knowledge to position Microsoft products and solutions within the specific context of these sectors. Demonstrate the ability to show how Microsoft products and solutions can help customers achieve innovation and drive business transformation in these critical areas.
Qualifications
7+ years experience in working in an industry (e.g.,Public Safety, Justice, National Security, Defence, Intelligence or Government sectors), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Public Safety, Justice, National Security, Defence, Intelligence or Government sectors), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 4+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Public Safety, Justice, National Security, Defence, Intelligence or Government sectors), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
OR equivalent experience
