Sr Mfg Process Technician - Inspection

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will operate advanced, automated manufacturing equipment essential to the inspection of our products. Beyond equipment operation and troubleshooting, you will ensure product quality by maintaining optimal equipment performance. This position is part of a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment that requires working non-standard shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Multiple positions available.

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

  • Monitor equipment performance, address faults or stoppages, and perform routine inspections, quality checks, and minor maintenance to maintain uptime.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues, implement effective solutions, and escalate discrepancies to the Front-Line Manager (FLM) as needed.

  • Ensure materials and components are available to support continuous operations and manage inventory and electronic batch records using SAP and related systems.

  • Generate and manage minor deviations, and initiate emergency, corrective, or preventative work orders in Maximo.

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and standard operating procedures to uphold compliance and quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Train team members on equipment, procedures, and safety standards, and perform additional duties as assigned with a proactive and flexible attitude.

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Sr. Mfg Process Technician professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree and 6 months of manufacturing experience

Or

High school diploma and 2 years of manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing within a GMP-regulated environment, with a strong commitment to product quality and compliance.

  • Basic statistical and mathematical skills, with experience in inspection performance indicators such as CHO and OEE.

  • Skilled in diagnosing equipment malfunctions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective corrective actions.

  • Experience operating highly automated equipment and working with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

  • Proficient in using computer systems, including SAP, for material inventory and electronic batch records.

  • Ability to support manual inspection activities.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the self-motivation to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and escalation skills, with proficiency in working with small groups and cross-functional teams.
