Job Description

The Shift Supervisor oversees the production process, ensuring products meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. They will schedule the work, monitor progress, and report any issues/resolve any conflicts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure equipment functions properly.

• Record production counts, monitor scrap levels, and move WIP inventory.

• Plan team workflow, assign tasks, and train employees on safety procedures.

• Monitor employee progress, provide feedback, and assist in hiring.

• Collaborate to meet deadlines, follow safety rules, and report issues.

Essential Skills:

• 1+ year supervisory and 3+ years manufacturing experience.

• Attention to detail, basic math, and effective communication.

• Proficiency in software, conflict management, and critical thinking.

• Dependability, leadership, motivation, and organizational skills.

• Problem-solving, project management, safety knowledge, and time management.

Work Environment

The work environment requires physical dexterity, including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, and using hands. You should be able to lift and move boxes weighing 30-50 lbs infrequently. The role involves close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. You will work in varying temperatures and inclement weather with a moderate noise level due to forklifts and power tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
